Default Car Takes A While To Start

When I go to start my car in the morning or whenever it sits for a couple hours, it takes a while to start. It cranks up for around 4 to 5 seconds then it starts up(count one one thousand, two one whousand, three one thousand, four one thousand, five one thousand). That's pretty long. And sometimes when it starts it seems like it's going to die, but it starts up. Is this normal? I recently changed the spark plugs, spark plug wires, and the distributor cap and rotor. It also did this before I changed everything. Any ideas?

If you just changed your dizzy components than I would think its something with your starter, but wait for some more info on this before you go change it
