Default I cant get my spark plugs out!!

I was replacing my plugs and wires yesterday, and I bought a set of tools at Kragen's. Anyways, I was able to loosen the spark plugs but I cant find a way to get them out.

Any suggestions?

Get a really tight spark plug socket for your ratchet. I personally have two sparkplug sockets: One that's excessively tight to help get the damn things outta there, and a really loose one so it's easy to get the socket off when putting them back in. But, and I know this is a stupid question... are you sure you unscrewed the plugs all the way?

Use a piece of hose and push it over the ends then pull them out.

Buy a special 3/8" spark plug socket from Sears. Make sure you have loosened the plugs out of the threads. Take your extension and socket (don't need the ratchet at this point) gently put it over the plug and pull it out.

Craftsman. It'll make things alot easier for you. I can't imagine how you can get it out with a normal socket. This spark plug socket has a rubber insert that holds onto the plug after you had loosened it.

Dude, you must of purchased some crap wires if you cant push the wire back on the spark plug...

Dont buy them OEM replacement things, there always C-rap! You need to buy factor or GOOD quality aftermarket things.

Its rather ease to get the plugs out and being that you had time to write this, means you really got stuck. I know how it feels so dont think Im slamming ya...

Anyways, my plug socket lost its rubber innerd which grabbed the plug when it was time to pull it out. I ened up doing as the other said. Loosen them ALL the WAY off. Then take the end of whatever wire you got, old ones, new ones, whatever, push that down in there till it graps over the top as you normally would. Now keep in mind that your plugs might be totally off and just laying sideways as your pushing the wires back in there to grab it. It wont line up so you need to look in there while you doing it. Its really ease man. Dont be affraid, try it, work smarter not harder.

Thats a new one for me, good tip man...

I was just telling him, he need to make sure there not sideways laying while he is pushing the wires tip back in there to grab it. He might of been just pushing it in there without noticing his plugs are totall off and possiable at a small angle in the tube.

Anyways....
