Get a really tight spark plug socket for your ratchet. I personally have two sparkplug sockets: One that's excessively tight to help get the damn things outta there, and a really loose one so it's easy to get the socket off when putting them back in. But, and I know this is a stupid question... are you sure you unscrewed the plugs all the way?
