Default throttlebody probs

i cleaned out my throttlebody like last week and now, its dirty again. i dont want to have to keep cleaning it weekly, so, could it be my intake just letting in too much crap? or maybe my egr valve? this is bugging me, as it is making my gas pedal stick, because the throttlebody wants to be stuck closed.

Well your throttle body is fine. Light buildup is normal and think of it this way, if you insist on cleaning it every week wouldn't you think everyone else should too?

your problem is your generic intake!!,

Toss our your air filter put on a K&N cone, and it shouldnt build up as bad!!.

You can clean the EGR with carb cleaner and reinstall it if your worried, but my guess is the filter!

E = exhaust
G = gas
R = recirculator

the honda B series family does not have an EGR....most car companies use the EGR to help pass emmisions.....since the Honda motor is already pretty easy on the enviroment there is no need for an EGR valve......the thing you highlighted is just a breather that is hooked from the valve cover to the intake mani so that only filtered air is taken into the valve cover.
