Default Blackout Tail Lights

Hey,
I now have the "Window Tint Spray" And I just need to know the best way of blacking out my tail lights. For the people that have blacked out there tail lights, what did you do, and what were the problems that you ran into when blacking them out. I dont want to mess this up.
Thanks

So I just take out the tail lights, clean them, spray the stuff on lightly intill it is dark enuff, and then clearcoat it.
Thats it?

I left mine on my car and masked the whole car off. I went over the lights with some steel wool and then a siffer cloth to get the lint off and then I painted them. They came out sweet.

:werd: This stuff tends to run very easily if sprayed on hastily. Take your sweet dandy time and you'll end up with results that you'd be proud of. Oh, and save yourself the headache and remove them from the car when you do tint them.

It's much quicker to take them out completely then to leave them on and mask of everything.

You can't seperate plastic from plastic. You can try but you'll most likely crack the lense. You have to do it on the outside
