Hello, I'm new to the forums, and new to the integra type r. I just would like some opinions on which turbo kit to go with. My goal is to have a daily driver vehicle, and I want about 260-300 HP. I'm willing to build up the engine to make it strong enough to handle whatever boost necessary, I just know that's how much HP I want. And later, maybe crank it up a notch or two., I'm looking to smoke V8s, like this little punk with his Camaro SS, talking shit about how slow my car is.

Thanks!

In my opinion i would go with the RevHard Stage 2C you can generate up to 400hp if not more if your car was built to handle that much and properly tuned then u could walk all over the punks with their Camaro's Firechickens, and last but not least Rustangs.

A stock SS only runs 13.8s, so it's not too difficult to outperform that.

I agree, the revhard 2c will give you a good starting point to reach your goal and beyond. The 2c without tuning can give you up to +100whp above stock. Tuned, with bigger injectors the potential is increased. Once I get around to dyno tuning my set up I'll be sure to let you know.

I really really don't think it will give you 100whp without tuning. Our cars come with anywhere from 160-170whp stock. I doubt a kit Turbo will put down 260-270whp untuned...

sounds good, i'll try to find the best deal and get it eventually. But I keep seeing people talk about High Compression, and how this car isnt made for boost? How true is that? I know how to take care of a car, but if it's just all around too bad for my vehicle.. I dunno.

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but since you asked, I haven't dynoed my car, it's running high 12s, so you can do a calculation based on weight to get an estimated whp, but I don't want to go there, it's a little less scientific than dynos are.

Erik, by untuned, I mean w/o standalone. I wouldn't really consider anything less than standalone truly "tuned". Tuned to me means achieving maximum energy from fuel burned, and without standalone you can't even get close.

Well I don't have standalone (yet) but I consider my car well tuned. Fuel curve is dam near perfect. Anyway back to the topic I would go custom on everything. Treat your car to the best parts...little more money but you get to pick and choose your parts. Good luck with whatever route you take and let us know how it goes or if you need any help. I would suggest doing some research on every part before just taking someone's word for it and buying it just because they say its good.
