i'd do a JDM 4-1 Header and carsound cat next. And I had good results from a 2000/2001 Type-R intake cam.

It's brother (98-#801) is 5 too and says Happy Birthday

Glad to hear the 00+ USDM ITR cam makes a difference. I wasn't sure about getting it, now I'm sold (since I'll turn around and sell the current intake cam).

Jeff on that note . . .

First I am not sure if you recall but i met you in Peru in 2001. I ran a Yellow R in Street Mod and did pretty poorly.

I made 5-6 whp with the Intake cam pretty much untuned. This was on the same dyno but different days and with other mods factored in so givce or take a hp. This is actually already an underestimation but I prefer to be pesimistic.

I am not sure if the intake cam is an allowed update/backdate mod just so you take that into consideration.

I paid $300 for a brand new cam and got $200 for mine used. That to me was 5 hp for $100 which is pretty well spent on our cars.

Yup, definitely remember you and your yellow R at Peru. The Fluidyne radiator and Millenia wheels along with your southern draw where unforgettable

Didn't get a chance to say hello at the Expo, but thanks for putting together such an outstanding event. Looking forward to running, not watching next year!

Looking forward to getting my new intake cam and ~5 whp

If yours is as dirty as mine, how about a nice clay bar workout followed by a nice coat of wax.
