How should I tune my Cam Gears?
Hi..
Got a little Tech Question..
Today I installed B16B cams in my B18C1 engine.
Also I changed the OEM cam gears into adjustable Golden Eagle Cam Gears.
Now, I don´t know how I should tune the cam gears for optimal running of my CTR cams, so I fixed them at 0 degrees..
Does anybody knows, or have a tip or even a hint, on how I should tune the cam gears to get the most out of the cams...
All suggestions is welcome...

You'll probably end up advancing the intake slightly (2-ish) and retarding the exhaust slightly (2-ish).
Again, this is generally what creates best power with ITR/CTR cams, but it should definately see a dyno to find out where the most power is.

Surely a dyno test would be the best...
but since dyno´s are so expensive here in Sweden ($100-150/h)
I was hoping that someone have read somewhere, about anyone who have made a similar swap and maybe have found out how tune his Cam Gear..
Just to get a idea of what to aiming for..
qtiger: What do you mean with 2-ish? Do you mean 2 lines?

I have no intension of boosting the engine.
I stay with n/a building..
I don´t have an AFC, but I have an VAFC II that I´m about to have installed..
Why do you think that I shouldn´t tune the gears?
