Default OBD 2 restrictions

I was wondering what kind of restrictions are there for my car I have a 97 civic ex d16y8 because I was going to swich to a SI ECU and dint know if it was worth it or not. THanxs

if both motor and ECU are stock it wont do jack for you.

if you have a transplanted motor skunk has a wire harness made to plug and play to change the OBD 2 to OBD 1...gots to get a OBD 1 ECU tho.

An Si ECU? As in one from a '99-'00 Si with a B16A? You can't run a D16Y8 with a B16A ECU.
