Default CD player wont accept cds when cold

Anyone else have this problem? I have a pioneer cd player, and it plays fine when its cold. Problem is if you try to put a new cd in when its cold, it will not go in. Regardless of temp though it has no problem ejecting.

After driving between 15 min to a half hour it will usually go in. The player is fairly new, and its happened to my previous pioneer also. Is there any simple fix to this asides from buying a new one? Its really annoying listening to the radio until its ready to take a cd.

Make sure the CD is not fogged up when you put it into the deck. If it is fogged up, it may not read properly.

I have been told that there's a rubber element that properly aligns the CD for reading and when this rubber is hard it can't align the CD, so when it heats up, all is well. I had this prob with an OEM Honda deck, replaced it (not for this reason, lol) and all is better.
