Default Auto/Manual Diagram's (HUGE PICS)

I ran up to my local Honda dealer (Honda of Decatur) and bugged the hell out of a nice man working up there. (Thank you Dusty Vinzant) I asked around and stated my purpose, i told them I was going to do an auto/manual swap. They said, ok.. how may I help you. So blah blah and a while later, I got these...

Sorry for the huge pictures, wanted to keep detail.

I'm not sure how much these will help anyone, but it gives me an idea of what im working with. Honda doesn't sell manual transmissions, but the rest of the parts I need cost this much from them...

Clutch Resovoir; (Tank - $9.22) (Cap $13.16)
Master Cylinder; (Master - $121.39) (Slave - $85.12)
Transmission Fluid; (Manual - $3.77 a quart)
Transmission Mount; ($42.61 - $33.79)*
Manual Harness; (Harness - $297.52)
Shift Linkage; (Linkage - $133.95)
Fly Wheel; (Wheel - $274.00)

*Not sure why he wrote down two prices

I hope this helps out someone, its certainly cleared up a few things for me.

Well, I'm planning on taking pics and writing step by step of everything I do. My goal is two fold: 1) To make my car into a manual and 2) to make a website helping anyone who wants to accomplish this task. My website will be detailed, down to the tool I used to remove each bolt. I want to make this as simple as possible so any dummy in the world can take my website and make their civic into a manual... well at least anyone with a 96-00 civic

Good stuff. I have done this conversion on my EG coupe so if you need any help with the wiring, let me know. There was a thread here that I had posted pics and instructions for the wiring but I don't remember which thread it was... it was titled something like Swapping Motor or something like that but I can post them again.

Basically stuff like getting the reverse lights to work, being able to start the car, get keys out of the ignition, getting cruise control to work, etc...

This should be made into a sticky in the DIY forum. So many people ask about it.

$350 not bad for labor . Most will charge you more just to change your tranny !
