94 Accord EX-4 cyl VTEC EGR Ports clogged??

94 Accord EX-4 cyl VTEC EGR Ports clogged??
A local dealer told me this is what might be causing my knocking sound around 2000 RPMs on my engine. Hopefully it is this is not my main engine bearings.
He said the EGR ports may be partially clogged and need to be cleaned.
Has anyone else had this experience and did it do any good cleaning them???
I have 112K miles on my car and have used only Mobil 1 5W30.
