Default Del Sol engine swap

hey ive got a 93 del sol an was look'n into a engine swap. At first i was think of getting an H22a but correct me if im wrong ive heard alot of bad things about H22 swaps. So now im looking into a integra B18c GSR Engine(180hp)(this is what im looking at for the B18c)>http://www.topendmotorsports.com/eng...b18/index.html

I want somthin light with hella HP
If ne1 knows of a better swap than a B18c let me know ASAP.

Also wondering if I would have to buy any seperate parts to get the swap running (like gearshift levers ,drive shafts , axles, etc. :drunk:

Oh YEA and i was wondering if ne1 knows of any good websites that sell motor swaps for hondas. PEACE

http://www.hmotorsonline.com/shop/

We guarantee that you'll find some of the best prices on-line, in fact we are so confident that if you find any of our competitors prices cheaper we won't match them, we'll beat them!

Nothing. That's the code for the engine from an Integra GSR. The GSR is a pain in the ass, IMO. It is in my car and I'm replacing the GSR head with a Type R head, and all toda internals. I'm running a B18c5 USDM ITR block now @ 10.5:1.

You can do an h22a swap, but the motor is really heavy. You will need to beef up your suspension quite a bit. If you want a 1.8 liter, get the Type R. There have also been numerious threads about this subject in this forum. I suggest you utilize the search feature.

an h22 swap is less than 50lbs heavier if i remember correctly compared to a c5...and if you upgrade the front suspension to match the added weight, it can handle just as good as it did before the swaps
