I was looking around for exausts today and i saw an new(er) tanabe. i have allways wanted the racing medalilon but now i saw this new one i think the super medalion. the hyper looks huge and nasty so that one is out, that why i like the rm but the new one looks a lot like it. would be it ok if i but on a rm or the sm if i have nothing else but bolt on's.

well i've heard that tanabe exausts might not be good for your car if you don't have forced induction

Why? All you're doing is putting a larger pipe on there (2.5 or 2.25") from the cat to the tailpipe with a muffler. I woulnd't think that brand would matter if you're n/a or forced induction. The size is what will matter there. I do know that the Racing Medallion is a loud system if you wanted to get it.

Some exhausts are actually made for turbo cars. Just dont get those. I'm not sure about the tanabe, check the web site.

Quick note: my good friend with a 95 Eclipse GS-T has a Tanabe exhaust, and it's absolutely indistinguishable from the stock exhaust except for the tip. It has virtually no tone of its own. I'm not sure if it's the turbo at work, or what... but my only experience with them has been that they're totally average.
