Default Need a quick answer !

This might be a neeb question but here goes . I never did a D swap so Im not sure . And Im to lazy to search through 50-1000 results . I just wanna know what will I need in order to drop a 97 D motor into a 95 coupe . Will I just need to change the intake manifold,and distro ? Thanks guys !

Its not worth it b/c the 97 motor will be OBD2 and ur hatch is OBD1 u will have to get a pig tail for the ECU. I might be wrong but im pretty sure im not HIH

Yeah But if you change the intake mani and the distro it will become OBD1 . "I Think"

z6 is the same as y8 right? just different years? they are both v-tecs?

Nah I sold My coupe to my cusin and my other cusin is swapping out his motor for a B16 so The coupe is gonna get an upgrade as well . :thumbup:

As long as you switch the dizzy and use your old wiring harness, you're good to go. What motor is it that you're thinking about? That'll decide on the ecu you'll want to use.
