Why? If he has the obd2 clips, works dandy.

And there are lots of d16's... figure out which one, and it makes helping youa lot easier.

It's a d16y7 I think im almost 100% sure .

It's a 97 dx motor .

why would you want to swap a crappy motor for a crappy motor?

The Y7 is a POS... not worth the OBD effort.. :nono:

My point exactly. Get a JDM D15B they are like $350.00 and 130HP. Or just swap an NSX motor in there, that would be off the hook. I got a brand new D16Z6 short block off ebay for $390.00. Then I stuffed it with eagle rods and SRP Pistons for another $700.00. Then I had the head rebuilt with skunk2 springs and retainers that I bought slightly used.

Well doing the job is nothing . The reason we are going to change it is because the new owner does'nt care about the speed issue to much . The thing is the dx has a cx motor and that shit does'nt move at all . So were getting the motor for nothing so might as well give it a better motor you know ?
