Default WTF? Why is it decelerating?WTF?

Hey guys I need your help. This is the 2nd time this has happened. Last time this happened was probably 3-4 months ago.

Drive along the freeway minding my own business then all of a sudden it decelerates by itself. . I panic and got out the fast lane (doing about 70 and still decelerating). Dropped it in neutral and put it back in 5th and it accelerates like everything is normal. Same thing just happened tonight. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Do you have enough gas in your car?

I don't think i was very specific the first time. I was mashing gas pedal when it was decelerating but no response. It lasted for a good 5-10 seconds before everything went back to normal. Not sure if popping it in neutral and back to 5th really changed anything. It was just a desperate attempt. This is the 2nd time it has happened and it looks like its not going to go away. Please help.

Your fuel injectors should be fine. The electrical/ignition system would more likely to be the culprit. Does it feel like it cuts in/out when you're accelerating? Does the tach erractically swing across?

call up a honda or acura dealership and see if they could suggest what is wrong with it. then if the part is cheap, go buy it and replace it yourself. im sure it has happened before

A clogged catalytic converter can also cause what you're describing...
