Default o2 Sensor

My friend had and HX engine with a 5-wire o2 sensor and we swapped in a JDM GSR with a 4-wire sensor. We can't get the CEL to go away and we were wondering how you need to wire it up to get the CEL to stop popping up.

Did you use your OEM harness or the GSR's harness?

Have you checked to see what code the ecu is throwing? or is that where you came up with the o2 sensor...

I don't have a 92-95 Civic electrical manual, unfortunately.

Go into a dealership and ask if you can look at their manuals... should tell you what pins are what right in there.

Yes, we checked the ECU and came up with the o2 sensor. It was throwing 3 different ones, now it's down to just this one.

We were using the haynes manual, but I guess it's not the one you're talking about.
