Integra maintenance w/Honda parts
Starting the first timing belt job here on the GSR. I've been slowly accumulating the major parts (belt, water pump, tensioner) but still should get a front main seal and cam seals.
I noticed that the front main seal on a B18C1 is 38X50X7.4mm, which is the same dimension as a Honda CR-V front main seal. Likewise, the cam seals on the GSR are 29X43X8mm, which is a precise match for the Prelude VTEC cam seals.
My assumption is that these are the same parts functionally and materially as well as dimensionally. And the Honda dealer is closer, cheaper and more polite than my Acura dealer.
Anyone able to confirm or deny the wisdom of using these?

I swap some of my 92 Civic parts with my 90 Teg, if it works , use it. My Honda dealer won't (can't) cross reference parts with the Acura so I do on the web, then order from Honda or Autozone.
That is so stupid that a Honda dealer can't look up an Acura/Honda part up on their computer. Lots of civic parts transfer, which is one of the reasons integras are so popular to steal
that sucks that honda wont look up acura parts even though there the same acura is honda, they actually can but dont want the trouble of doing it i know someone that works at a honda dealership and he said he can get me any oem part honda or acura
