Default Parts Suggestions for N/A buildup

Well, I'm thinking of going N/A on my b18c5, so I'm wonder what you would suggest for:

Clutch: Clutchmaster? ACT? Centerforce? Exedy? Competition Clutch? Which would be best for a N/A powered car? I'd like something leaning more toward a track clutch, rather than a street one. I like the hard clutch feel.

Flywheel: Fidanza? Lightened ITR? Toda? Spoon? Exedy? Clutchmasters? Comptech? Cusco? I just need something to gain the performance of a aftermarket flywheel. I figure they are all about the same, so I can just get one from a reputable company and call it a day?

Intake: I'm thinking Comptech. Either that or AEM V2. I find that all CAI or Short Ram are the same...your just paying for a name. Is there one that definantly improves performance and breathing?

Header: I'm pretty sure I want 4-1. I really like the Comptech as well, but I hear the DC Sports is good. Any big advatange of the Toda or JDM SS one? Where do I want to gain the most power in a B18c5? I figured I'd want something with gains in the mid-high rpms?

Thanks alot! Sorry for all the gibberish I added :fawk:

well i have no idea which parts to use for the N/A setup. Just weird how things change and you go from a boost guy to askin about N/A parts Good luck with everything though man.

-post some pics of the swap and suspension :njerk:

Paulll: I'll post pics when I actually get those lazy batids to acutally install the B18c5.

EJCivic02: I know I know...i'm always changing my mind. I've been talking with alot of people about the B18c5...and save a few, they all said it was a N/A motor. Plus, i ran across Erick Aguilar's website, and his motor is a partially built GSR...so I'm gonna keep in touch with him for advice!

I would go,
Clutch, ACT 6 puck
Flywheel, Fidanza lightened
More agressive cams. Toda
Intake, Comptech
Exhaust, RS*R
Header, Stock, I have yet to see any header provide significant gains from ANY brand header.

Clutch: Act Extreme 6 puck
Flywheel: Stock
Cams: Skunk2 Stage 2- Make good power on stock compression and even better power on higher comp.
Intake: Stock with open filter and resonator removed.
Exhaust: A straight under axle 60mm or over axle 2.5". Like a buddy club, rsr gt2, T1R, maybe the new greddy titanium.
Header: Save up for an equal length, ie: hytech, anr, or dtr.

Personally i'd keep it stock and and finish the suspension. Then get some skill about how to drive it.

for the intake i would go with a J's racing intake. gives you better throttle response and better low-mid range as well as great high end.

for the exhaust depending on what your setup is for. if its for autox i would go with a setup that has piping no bigger than 2 1/4" need som back pressure. if you're just going for top speed than get a 2.5" system. buddy club is nice but might be too much to handle DB wise on a daily commuter.

for the header the 4-1 sounds good. best ive seen so far is the spoon model. but you might want to check out the bisimoto header if its in production.

for valvetrain i would go Toda. the sell a complete tuning kit for the C5.

Header: Stock, the dc header is a copy of your current header so getting it would be pointless. Save up for an equal length, ie: hytech, anr, or dtr.
:werd: exactly what I was going to say
