okay went home last night around 4 am and i saw two guys driving in my neighborhood in a riced EF, they looked at me... then they drive to the end of the neighborhood and i park my car and watch where they go and they just loop the block and leave. So i'm like okay wtf are they doin at 4am going around in neighborhoods for? So i chased them down and i saw them loop a couple other neighborhoods so i highbeam them and mean mugg them.

Anyway i want to know about kill switches and alarms? Which alarms have the kill switch in them that aren't so expensive? I only want to spend like 300 on the alarm, that's my budget.

 

the trick to a good security system is in the install and the amount of layers u put on to slow or even frustrate the theif so they just quit and move on but if a theif really wants ur car, they shall have it, so u have to put up a fight.

look into clifford alarms, i myself have a dei viper responder type and fully install it myself and i took the extra time that shops dont and hide the wires and ect very well, made it look very neat and hard to find. i added a club and autoloc for further assistance. more layerin options may be like fuel pump kill switches, hidden in a good place. key pad security(those keypad things where u enter ur passcode so u can start ur vehicle). look into a responder type alarm, it pages u if somethin trip ur alarm. a good brand i can recall in that field is compustar. they r awesome. good luck man.

exactly. following them probably just provoked and pushed them even further to actually doing something now. Not a whole lot you can do besides take all of the precations that outxider mentioned and watch your car and who drives in your neighborhood. good luck man

If they want your car and know what they are doing they will get your car. If they can't steal it they will take whatever is not bolted down. They tried to steal my car a few weeks back and since they could'nt get it started, they took everything inside including the floor mats. Oh, and this was in a neighborhood where houses average above $500k so no matter where you are, you are vulnerable.

there are diy kill switch write ups online somehwhere..I'd also recommend pulling the plug wires at night or maybe disconnecting your battery. No theif will sit with your hood popped trying to find the disconnected ground wire.

 

or just get a gun
