Default F22 DOHC JDM MOTOR In a crx

Does anyone know if this is a good idea? What are the specs on a f22 dohc jdm motor and how much would one of those motors cost?

I found a good deal on a crx h/f with a clean title and this kind of motor swap done. Do you think it is worth it for a g of 1500?

F22 requires the same PITA hack job as the H-series bigger brother in a 4th gen and previous civic/crx base. Not recommended if it's ever going to be on the street.

Do you know how much power the f22 motor has? And would the crx be mostly for drag do you think?

Again, hack job. H22 will still have more power, but will also be a hack job. A built drag B20Vtec engine will make as much power as an H22 [which is a hack job] if not more, and weigh less. So back to your original question: Is it a good idea? No. Unless you're gung-ho to build a tube frame front end and save yourself some headache by putting the engine mounts where you want them, then I'm *pretty* sure I answered your question, in which case you can stow the sarcasm.

Good stuff you's guys, it would be easier to go with a b16a motor or a b18c wouldn't it, no hack jobs with those am I correct?

That's a major understatement, but yes, that will be a non-hack job swap

I was referring to your comment that B-series are a lot easier to swap in than F/H series engines. Because it is VERY true.
