You are so unbelievably uninformed and (apparently, at least from your post) stupid that it's not even funny. I voted for President Bush because the odds are if Gore were in office right now, Saddam would still be running lose and we would have suffered more than one major terrorist attack. Bush is a very intelligent man, go do your own research on him and the economy and stop skimming through your liberal newspapers for flamebaits against the President.

we would suffer more than one terrorist attack? The only reason we were attacked in the firest place is becuz Bush decides to attack any and almost every country that has terrorists in it. He only attacked Iraq because he wanted something to act as a catalyst for the economy. Gore would have made peace treaties wit the nations. Also, if all of the countries in the united nations, oppose the attack on iraq, doesnt bush get a clue on wats happening? the whole world decides to oppose bush and he still proceeds wit his actions.

doesnt he understand? you mus get enough votes...obviously even england didnt even join us.

tell me....whr am i wrong about the economy? we hit rock bottom, the only way we can go is back up. The recession was from the dot com crash. the war is jus a catalyst, but has cost numerous amounts of lives and monay. You want to kill people? innocent people? for ppl in the US to run thr fukin SUV's?

giv me some reasons on how bush is smart? he cant even pronouce his own words and no im not going to do research..
he is smart because thr are many ppl by his side telling him wat to do? we would hav gotten saddam and bin laden anyways.

maybe thats why u are in new york and i am in cali...

Wow. Just wow. I didn't read any more than this absolutely asinine statement. Are you aware that President Bush didn't say the word terrorist or war once until September 11th? Please come back when you have actual knowledge of what you pretend to know about.

If I didn't know any better, based upon your presentation (and your own apparent lack of intelligence) I'd tend to believe you're a troll. But, I've been wrong before. No need to take this onto another war thread, it has been discussed in this forum ad nauseum. There is a thread here for your enjoyment: https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...threadid=58312

Why did I vote for Bush? Many of his ideas were more in line with my beliefs, and the alternative was far worse. Nothing more complicated than that. BTW, I live in California as well...as if that has anything to do with a particular point you were trying to make.

I think my 8 year old little brother could have devised a stronger argument.

Transcript of Bush/Blair speeches:
http://politics.guardian.co.uk/iraq/...089630,00.html

"I also want to express my deep sympathy for the loss of life in Turkey. The nature of the terrorist enemy is evidenced once again." -President Bush, November 2003

Also. Bush may or may not be a bright guy, but his speech patterns are consistent with a learning disability, possibly mild dyslexia. Not during his scripted speeches, mind you, just during extemporaneous events like press conferences.

If Al Gore had been declared President by the Supreme Court instead of George Bush, you're right -- Saddam Hussein would likely still be in charge in Iraq. Gore never would have lied to the United States Congress and the world about phantom weapons of mass destruction in order to justify a preposterous war.

Wedly,

Read the link Dave posted, form some sort of an argument that you can back up other than Bush=Bad, War=Bad, and then come back here with your findings. Better yet come back when you get out of grammar school.

I would certainly have to agree that Bush is not the most polished public speaker, and I also find your analysis of his speech patterns somewhat interesting. Would you care to elaborate a bit? Regardless of any particular (or potential) learning disability, I would have to think that you would agree that a particular disability does not make, in Wedly's words, "a man wit close to no intelligence."

Relative to your "phantom weapons" statement, I am also curious as to your take on the preliminary report by David Kay about Iraq's weapons program and the Iraqi Colonel that has received much press outside of the US. The Colonel recently came forward as a source to British (prewar) intelligence about Iraq's ability to mount a WMD deployment in (if I recall correctly) under 45 minutes? I've also recently heard rumblings that more WMD information may come to light (in a 30 day window?), and this information is allegedly supposed to be very definitive about WMD's in Iraq. If I heard correctly, there may be information forthcoming from India and/or Pakistan about Iraq's weapons being transferred to Iran and Syria. The catalyst for this information was Saddam's capture, as there were sources that may have not been able to come forward if he was on the loose.
