On my way home from work last night this stupid deer decides it wants to say hi to me. It took out the fender, chipped the front bumper, broke my newly finished DIY CTR headlights, and dented the door and hood. :madfawk: to deer!! Gotta call the insurance company when they open. Maybe I can get a 99-00 front end conversion outta this :rick:

Looks like you actually made it out somewhat lucky. It definitely sucks having to rebuild after a run-in with a deer but at least there's something left to rebuild. My buddy hit one with his station wagon a few years ago, and the angle of impact caused the radiator to ignite some oil on the block. The car burnt in a matter of minutes. Pretty extreme scenario. Yea, RiceburninVTEC and I got hit by deer around the same time in the same area...His bumper/headlight/fender/hood were ****ed...He took a marker and wrote "DEER SUCK!!!" on his busted fender and drove around with it for a while...
I got lucky and only had to replace the Headlight and Fender, the hood has one small dent but I'm gettin a CF hood soon so its all good...

 

anyone know why deer want to say hi? my mom stopped for a deer.. when she stopped the deer went up and hit the side of the car.. stationary.
