you have 35k dollars TOTAL to buy any car you want within said price range. You already own a nice daily driver and this will be a fun car. I am stuck between 09 Cayman S, or E39 M5.

Probably a very nicely built Westfield, Caterham or some other barely road-legal track-day special. If year-round use (in shit weather) is a factor, an LS-swapped NB8 Miata or FD RX-7. At least then you get a real roof. But nothing German, that is for certain.

 

Ariel Atom without a second thought, and I would daily that bish in any weather.
