act clutch question...
what's the difference between the HD00 and HDSS clutches from act??? the price is about the same but the HDSS is about $50 more from where i'm going to buy.
also, i'm thinking about possibly getting the act XTSS or XT00, but the pressure increase is 100% over stock. would i be able to significantly feel the difference?
my car is daily driven and i dont want anything too hard to push, but if need be, i'll get it.
opinions? suggestions?

i got the htss for my h22a1
it is a performance street disc, which i believe is the easiest to engage besides the ACT oem disc
and it is definitely a noticeable difference in grabbing pressure, it grabs much quicker and the car just goes when u slip it in
i can imagine the 6 puck and 4 puck must be ridiculous if the htss disc is already much stricter and its their most streetable disc
i would recommend it, as long as you get the sprung unit

hmmm....thanks for the advice. im just alittle concerned though, cause my stock wheel torque is a little under 100ft-lbs and i have more than 50% more. so i wasn't sure if the 50% increase would be enough. but i guess so. thanks!
I forget the part #'s that you have listed and am too lazy to look them up but for your set up, you would be more than ok with the Heavy Duty Pressure Plate and Street Disc.
You definitely don't want and 4 or 6 puck discs unless you are doing some serious racing... these discs have a much harsher engagement and really are intended for race and not street.
I believe the XT denotes Xtreme and the HD denotes Heavy Duty... Like I said, you could go Xtreme Pressure plate but it's really not needed for your set up since you don't have much torque so the Heavy Duty will be more than enough to get the job done... just make sure to stick with the Street Disc either way.
