Default cam gears???

looking to purchase some cam gears and am looking at the following cam gears spoon, skunk2, or toda which do you all think is better?



This is my current engine set-up:
sk2 itm
5zigen header & exhaust
stock tb
and stock everthing else

what do you need cam gears for when you dont have cams? and whats with the pic? :eh: :slap:

perhaps thats the setup he's runing,

and if you want cheap good quality cam gears look into the new STR ones, they are sweet.

if you must get cam gears, look for something with more than 3 bolts

aint nothing wrong with AEMs 3 bolt design, as long as you use the new hex bolts. It's not the number of bolts that make it slip, its the people who dont tighten down the bolts enough that do.

well i like my skunk2's
six bolts must be better than three in terms of safety
tightened or not
the more u have on there the less like ly they will come off :thumbup:

actually your just as safe if you tighten down those 3 bolts properly, and its alot easier to apply the 15ft-lbs of tq to a hex bolt than it is with an allen key.

It's really not about how many bolts you got, its all about tightening them down correctly.
