If someone has a dynamic IP and is behind a proxy server, how do you go about banning them from your forums. Just a question.

 

You ban the user name.

 

Yea but what if they register a new name? Essentially this would make the person unbannable correct?

 

I am only speaking from what I know...which isnt much on the technical side of things.

What you are saying is true...but most users who create a new name just get caught again. :dunno: For some reason most who act out like the attention they get.

 

There's really no reason for us to disclose this type of information.

There's no reason to be belligerent, especially if it's just to provoke a response.
