If you are driving in France you should know the laws and regulations of that country. Driving in France is usually a pleasure for anyone used to the high traffic encountered on all roads in much of the south of England or the Netherlands. France has various kinds of streets, from narrow single-track roads, many of which lead through historical towns and will make you wish that you had ditched your car and proceeded on foot, too big highways that allow for speedy travel.
All the important legal documents you need carry:
If you are looking to France for a short visit or you are come to driving in France as an expat. French authorities are quite strict on all motorists carrying the correct documents and obligatory equipment a full and valid driver’s license will allow you driving in France When driving. Those documents are given below
Drivers will also need proof of insurance and ownership (V5C) as well as a passport or national identification card to satisfy the French authorities
You may also be required to carry an International Driving Permit
Drivers in right-hand drive cars will also need to fit headlamp beam deflectors to turn away dazzling other road users.
Don’t keep hands-free and Bluetooth devices
Don’t keep speed camera dictators
A full and valid UK driver’s license will allow you to drive in.
All the penalties and fines:
While driving in France the highest possible charge can be 450 Euros. The fixing fine is 135 Euros, however, if paid in less than 15 days they will take 90 Euros, and if paid in more than 45 they take less amount. So fees can change if being reasonable and co-operate with them like a good visitor of France
