Default K series fit

ive been hearing alot of rumors about this....can the k series engines fit in the FIT, if so would then the fit be the modern day CRX?

Yes, the K20 fits relatively easily. The K24 supposedly fits too but I have yet to see a running example.

what are you considering relatively easy?

are mounts made for it yet?

the fit uses a k series right?...if so, then i dont think it would be too hard to fit a k20 in there...i'd imagine the k24 would be more difficult because of its larger size

edit: like a shmuck i assumed it was a k series, but after reading into it i found out it's the new L series...doh

HASport will have mounts available by the end of the year.

no... the fit is using an L15... quite different from the K20

i wouldnt consider the fit a modern day crx. but the fact that a k20 can go in is very awesome!! does anyone know how much the mounts are going to cost and if any other companies will make them this soon???

WOW. but i guess if you have the money to buy a brand new Honda Fit and also a k20, $1,000 mounts arent that bad!
I love my Hasport mounts and shift linkage!
