Default 4 wheel drive?

i read in one the threads that it is 4 wheel drive. honda web site doesnt say anything about 4x4 option. can you get 4x4? if so do you think it can be converted onto the civic? sure would be sweet.

jdm market has an awd version but it's not like a awd in an evo or sti only for certain roads.

its really built for the snowy winter regions in japan to provide traction on icy roads

it's probably just like the system in the earlier CR-V's... the rear axles were like pencils... it was really just for very very small help with traction.

A good set of snows/All seasons will net better traction/stopping power anyway (i've seen at least 2 people with wrecked AWD cars running summers "but it's all wheel drive".. idiots)
