Depending on what you want to do, I'd say that you should at least get pistons and perhaps even rods. Sleeving is unnecessary unless you are thinking about boostin really high like beyond 12 lbs. And you HAVE TO get good fuel management. I am running the Hondata StandAlone system and have had no regrets/problems with it. Hope this helps!
Thanks for the tips. What I'm hoping to get out of all this is a healthy dose of power (I'd like to be at least at 200hp), but I'm not going to race it or anything. Its just too wimpy right now, especially when i'm running the A/C or have more than one passenger in the car. I don't think I'll go beyond 8psi though. I'm guessing my engine has about 170k miles on it (the odometer quit working at 156k 2 years ago!) so I'm going to go conservative at first. I have a lot of work to do on it before I boost it - hi perf clutch, bigger exhaust, major tuneup and timing belt swap. And I hadn't even considered pistons - I'll have to massage that budget again! It sounds like a good idea though. The Hondata sounds nice too - I haven't heard of the system they include in the FMAX kit. Was that a piece of shit?
So how much boost were you running on your f22, and how many miles did you have on it? Thanks again for sharing your experience with this!

What up fellas...thanks for all the compliments once again...the grill was a do-it-yourself project that me and my buddy did...pre-cut grills can run prett expensive so be careful!

As for boosting, I had 8lbs on the f23 motor and about 70K miles on the motor before I blew...oh yea, the motor blew after about 20-25 miles on the turbo setup so it didn't last long at all...it sucked to realize that I had actually blown the motor...but you move on to bigger and better things such as a fully built h22/h23 hybrid! But not without being in a lot of debt for a lil while!!
