If money wasn't an object, I'd rebuild the engine completely. Can't go wrong with a zero-miles engine that you know is built right. Get the parts you want and build yourself a screamer of an engine.

just buying the engine would be easier but when you build the motor the way that you want it rather than getting the gsr and having to upgrade all of the internals if you were to add boost or nitrous. it all depends on what your goals for the car are. i notice alot of these riceboys like to have a powerful stock motor with a pretty exterior. i personally am more into getting underestimated. my plans are that in the next few months im getting my buddys 86 prelude si its got 250,000 miles so that motor is on the way out so im gonna upgrade to the H22A1 and start building onto that i actually have an F22 block that i was looking into building up but its begining to look like a big hastle the only. so figure your goals, access how much money your wanting to spend and make your decision on that. keep me posted

my overall goal is to hit the 11's by the time Im done. I know im gonna boost so I was just wondering if buying the block getting it sleeved and all the other needs of a boosted engine would be easier than buying the motor then doing it.

It all depends on if there is a local shop that can install sleeves for you. They aren't rare, but they certainly aren't common either.
