i just came back from vacation,my civic has been sitting since last friday. i started it...it shut off, and now it turns over like there is no plugs in it. i need to know if the 97 d16y7 is a interferance motor? are my valves wasted? the car only has 74,500 miles on it

 

Did you check if the timing belt broke?? And chances are you smacked a few valves.
