Default b16a2 swap into 93 civic

I am droppin in a USDM b16a2 into my 93 civic, and I was curious, I am using a 97 gs-r wiring harness, and a P30 OBD1 ecu. Since this motor comes stock OBD2, will I see any gain from the start, beause of less restrictive exhaust. I can't consider this a JDM setup either because the compression is different. If I added a thinner head gasket, then would this setup be on par with a JDM b16a2....

Also, I am getting the axles for this motor very soon. If I upgrade alot of parts, and up the HP, and torque, am I going to need new titanium axles, or are the 99 si axles tough enough?

Aren't GS-R axles built tougher neway?

ABS does matter. If you have ABS you need axles with the ABS gear ring on the axle. As for using the obd1 ecu, you will need the obd2-obd1 converter harness, since you are using an obd2 motor and harness.

I am not using a OBD2 setup. I am using an OBD1 ECU, and a 97 gs-r harness which plugs right into the chassis harness of the 93 civic ex......

This axle situation is frustrating me. I need to know....I have the 99 si axles, and the half shaft coming out of the transmission, but on the half shaft side...the axle and the half shaft don't fit into each other...I must be missing another piece, if so what??

If I have to buy new axles from NAPA, should I get any b series 94+, or should I get like 94 gs-r non abs axle set ???

Get any 94+ bseries without abs if you don't have abs.
