intake question

Default intake question

i have a 97 civic dx 1.6 non vtec. what intakes will fit on my car, and i am almost certain that they will flow better that what i have?like the 1 that is on the sohc v-tecs?

You should try a D16y8 or Z6 intake manifold. You have the D16y7? Correct? The y8 is probably the better of the 2. Its a pretty easy bolt on project as long as you have everything you need.

I dont recommend using sealent like they do in the IACV opening but it will give you an idea of whats involved.

the y8 would be a good bet, just make sure the iacv is the same

If all else fails you could always go with a drop in K&N OEM replacement filter.That is provided you don't mind the way the factory one looks.

about how much hp gains can you expect from swapping a y8 intake manifold on your y7?
