Default wrong gasket causing my vtec problems?

I just had a rebuild of my 95 gsr and the gasket set the shop ordered seem to be for a b16 or something else. the intake manifold gasket did not match at all,and the coolant passage was squared compared to gsr round. The head gasket seem to fit fine, but I did not check the holes around the chambers. I think there is an oil passage for vtec from the block, but not sure. would the b16 or maybe another gasket block that passage? The gasket set # is FS 1295. I thought b series gaskets were compatible? Also new oil pump, the invoice says Toga HV for gsr vtec, maybe they sent an LS?? I dont know. Ive been stuck for days and need help.
My vtec kicks in but sounds like a horn in my intake and slow accel after vtec. It was fine before rebuild and solenoid and switch are fine. No engine codes either.
Can someone help??
