hey all, what numbers should i expect from turboing my prelude with the 2.3 motor.

right now i'm pushing 145.8HP and 149TP at the wheels.

with 9psi i'd say somewhere mid-200's, granted that you do it right. just work on the fuel system and get it tuned well.
i've never seen a 2.3 'lude turbo before. everyone else just swaps in an h22. good luck!

nice figures! they are near as good as h22a's in some cases! with 9psi i would expect to see around 8-11 hp per pound of boost unless you get some turbo cams and headwork, and serious tuning then it may be possible to see more power!

proper tuning, +120

improper tuning, +60-90

10psi per lb of boost is the rule of thumb for a poorly tuned setup, or a non-intercooled setup.
