Sitting idle and I take off at a light in first gear, when I hit about 35k the engine decides to like come to life and will take right off.

well to me you would think that a engine wouldn't do something like that. You figure that if you are in first it would be a smooth rev all the way till you hit 2nd. Its not that I don't mind it, but it can be a pain sometimes, even runnin on 3 cylinders its hard to keep the car under 60k. It just seems to wanna go hella fast all the time hehe. 120k in 4th gear is crazy. 110k in 3rd is nuts

 

What kind of measurements are you using? 120k in 4th?

 

120kmh in 4th gear, I couldn't tell you the rpm cause I don't have a tach, but I've even gone as far as 125km/h in 4th.

 

125km... thats not even 80 mph, rofl. haha

 

thats not that bad buddy, ive ran 90 mph (150kmh??) in 3rd gear in a crx hf b4, honda have varied gear ratios and gears can be swapped if u want more low end power and closer gear ratios

 

I'm only running on 3 cylinders too hehe. WITH no tach

 

why 3 cylinders?
