thats what I want to do, i dontjust want to disable it i want to get rid of it so i can also lose some weight

Personally, I don't think you'll lose all that much weight. The AC from my friend's civic couldn't have weighed more than 10 lbs. You're better off just skipping lunch or dinner before you race. hehe
