B18C has more torque than B18B?

Default B18C has more torque than B18B?

i thought that the B18B had more torque than the B18C....


but this article says B18C has more torque than the B18B

it does...b18b has a lower compression ratio +shorter stroke. therefore, a bit more torque.

No, the B18C has more peak torque than the B. It's just higher in the powerband.


B18B1: 142 hp @ 6300 127 lb-ft @ 5200

B18C1: 170 hp @ 7600 130lb-ft @ 6200


Not that there's a huge difference or anything.

sorry for that mis=information. the torque curve is ever so slightly in favor of the ls. anyhow...if you're talking about torque, try a stang or camero...not honda
