ok, I am gong to do an engine swap in my 91 Accord LX it`s automatic....I have heard the H23a with H22a Head runs badly..why? and what happens to make it run bad? Did the H22a ever have an auto tranny that would bolt on my car without any or much modification?

Look, don't **** around like that.. don't be cheap with this swap. The H22A will be good for a lot of all motor power unless you fully built (if you want turbo). Go H23 if you wanna go turbo... it's a bigger motor and has better stock internals. Decide what you wanna do from the start. Don't swap a 22 head on a 23 motor.. pointless.
