Default throttle adjustment

To adjust the throttle cable in my civic, do i have to take of the cable bracket? The locknut is hard to get to because the bracket covers the top, and to loosing it from the bottom is hard because of the air intake.

got a teg so not sure, but i would think you can take it off and loosen the jam nut then put the bracket back, do your adj. then remove to tighten if possible, that way it wouldn't be a guess job and you dont have to kill youself to get to the nut

there are just 2 nuts u loosen either one to get some play in the cable and then adjust it accordingly, its a peice of cake, as long as uve got space to get the wrench in there, just make sure that when u push ur throttle pedal to the floor u can hear the throttle click with the plate hitting (best done with the car off so u can actually hear it, or just tell ur significant other to stick their foot on the pedal and check for u while u check it out.
