Default differences between these engines?

ok, maybe someone here can explain this to me, since i can't find anything anywhere on this. whats the difference between the
D16A1 and the ZC? according to various places they are different but they couldn't tell me how....
and if i bought a ZC instead of a D16A1 if it would bolt in or not...

h: this acura is gettin to me, if it was a damn subaru i'd have it torn down, rebuilt, and heavily modded, in the time its taken me to find out info for this acura..

The 1st gen Integra is the bastard stepchild of all Honda products. If you'd gotten a '90 instead of an '89, your life would be a whole lot easier.

The ZC has more power, but I don't know why. Probably better intake manifold, maybe higher CR pistons n' whatnot.

Both will physically bolt in. Wiring is another matter.

Stock you should have a D16A1.

Only the older ZC from the JDM 1st gen Integra and the 3rd gen Civic/CRX will bolt in. You would gain about 17 hp.
