i haven't been workin' on my car for a bit (just body work) so i don't got ****.

anyone wanna make a contribution? some one take picture. i can type up on how to do it (if i've done it myself) ofcourse

 

If someone did a K swap, we'd be pretty popular. I've only gotten a few things answered out here lately... used to be pretty good. I'm getting better now too so I can start answering more questions.

I'm about to post some pics of my progress... I think you all will like! :thumbup:

 

Ill take some pics and right up some how to's on swaps, brake and motor. Plus some other stuff. How bout an FAQ? One of us could right one. Post it up and the rest of us could help edit it for mistakes plus add input. Then have a sticky. We could send all noobs and people on other boards to it.

 

Here is a list of questions I have come up with, Reply w/ answers and I will combine them for the FAQ.

-Which motors go into which cars?

-What do the motor codes stand for?

-What seats will fit in my car?

-What do I need to run A/C or Power Steering?

-What wiring is required for differnet motors, years, etc?

-Do I need a mount kit?

-How do I swap X front end onto Y car?

-How do I swap X brakes onto Y car?

-Good suspension setups w/ different engines and chassis?

-What do the different chassis codes stand for?

-What JDM parts will bolt in/on so I can be cool?

-What gauge clusters will bolt in? and how can I wire up differnet ones?

-How do I modify my exhaust for different setups?

-Engine building tips for different setups NA, turbo, nitrous etc.

- How much Boost/ Nitrous can I run safely stock?

Thats a bunch, but Im sure there are more. I will post this up in the Civic, Accord, and Integra forums. Hopefully get more input. Then I will compile it all and make it final. THen we can post up for revisions. Add anything you can think of. THanks, Robert.

if someone wants to write up a how to private message me and i'll sticky it. ofcourse i'll be a snob and read to see if it's worthy of being stickied


Also if someone wants revisions on it. post it up and if the revisions call for the writer of the how to could do it, or i'll edit it....

It used to just be the plain white forum page and now it looks like Purehonda.com from last year.

but i agree this forum in particular died..

I sold my 92 CX hybrid last november though, but kept the Accord... kinda why I've ignored it.
