New Exhuast Suggestions
Im looking for a high performance muffler that isnt loud and doesnt restrict too much at around 8200 rpm. I had the catback apexi n1 but too much attention b/c of loud exhaust is shitty. Im now rockn the stock pipe with stock ex muffler and as you could well imagine it sucks.
It doesnt have to be aftermarket (i.e maybe type r muff.) I plan on having 2.5 inch pipe run custom by a local muffler place, i just need the can itself, any suggestions would be great!
Thanks

I've heard ppl reccomend this muffler:

it's less of a N1 or "straight-through" style, so it'll restrict some more, but be quieter, also when they're piping your exhaust, a resonator will, change the perceived loudness of the exhuast.

yah thats pretty much what ive got, magnaflow high flow muffler with a 2.25" mandrel and NO resignator and i like the sound, nice and deep, no tin can sound. just a normal less restrictive exhaust
I have a 99 Si, also need a non restrictive exhaust, not loud at all, preferably close to apex worlds sport(sound). suggestions needed and appreciated. I've got a muffler shop so piping is no problem.
Thanks, Jon

there are tons of mufflers out there check out any local shop to get one that fits ur asthetic taste, and just make sure it doesnt have extra resignators at the tip, to avoid that tin can sound remove ur typical resignator off the straight pipe, DO NOT REMOVE UR CAT. 2.25 inch is fine for most applications, 2.5 is typically for forced induction and can kill ur backpressure on a n/a car so u can actually loose power on the low end of the power band.
