Default Code 22, Vtec Oil Pressure Switch Defective

Would this cause my ecu to go into limp mode; regulating a 5.5k rev limit? This is the code my ECU is throwing; where do I start?

check ur oil level is correct 1st of all, its probably recognizing a low oil pressure situation causing vtec not to actuate, or the sensor or sylenoid is toast, but check that first and pull ur hazard fuse or disconnect ur battery and check the code again, if u still pull the same code then there is an open or short in VTEC ops circuit, or a defective VTEC pressure switch.
