Default Installing Clutch ... heh

Well I've decided to take on the task of installing my new clutch on my own. I'm following the wonderful Haynes book. It is getting me by, but I really need to get a hold of a Helms manual. I've already started and have a few parts off, but my main question right now is... where the crap is the Power Steering Speed Sensor?? In the Haynes manual it says to remove it, but I am not quite sure what it looks like. I've tried looking in the index of the book for it, but I wasn't able to find anything. So if anyone knows what and where this is and where I can disconnect it and unbolt it, that would be great. Also any, ANY! other information that you think would help me is GREATLY appreciated!!
Thanks In Advance!!!

The car is a 94 Accord LX

you dont really need to remove the VSS (vehicle speed sensor
it has a connection to the power steering rack with two tiny hoses).
it can stay in the tranny, its on the back of the tranny behind where the gear selector linkage goes. just unclip the two hoses and use a bucket to catch the fluid as it drains

how far along are you, if you havent dropped the tranny yet, you have a ways to go and its gonna be blood sweat and tears unless you have a few hydro floor jacks and a hoist

i have plenty of pictures of my h22a/h23a1 clutch change with the engine in the car, f22a1 (your engine is similiar by 90%)

let me know if you need help, ill make a lil step by step webpage for you.

Well I ended up going to Honda and the guy said they did away with the power steering speed sensor on the 94 models and up. And I'm all finished now and yup... went through all that blood and sweat that's for sure... didn't have a hoist, just a jack and my hands to guide it down. When we put it back in, I was up top pulling it up and my dad was under it pushin' it up, heh. Here's some pics as well. I'd like to see some of yours too if you have em up on a site already.

Yeah, I would have got a Helms but I had already started and didn't want to wait for it to arrive while my car sat in the garage on jack stands.

Anyways, here is some pics.. heh. Enjoy!

Wow... that's bad... heh^

Yeah I took my flywheel to get turned^

About the Rice.. heh... basically the guy who owned the car before apparently thought it would be cool to put a "Rice" decal on both sides of the front bumper... don't ask me why... I've already got a stock OEM 96-97 bumper that I need to paint when I have time.. or if I don't have time.. have a friend paint for me... after that the rice is gone!

i gotta find those pics, but a B series should be a little easier for a decently skilled person.
i can pull my engine, rebuild it and drop it back in in under 3 days comfortably a few hours a day
but thats only because i have done it so many times already to my prelude and other preludes.
