Default Head bolt question, (exhaust mani bolts)

How do i take off the stud bolts that the header bolts up to? i stripped one the other day and i have extras, but how do you take them off? thanks

Jamb 2 nuts against each other, then use that to take out the stud. Or use visegrips or something like that, since you can't re-use the stud. Just try to apply a pure turning force, no bending. Maybe some heat will help?
