Default H22A swap/immobilizer

I want to swap a H22A into a Acura CL, and I was curious about the immobilizer. On the '97 up preludes, they have an immobilizer so if I used one of thoes engines would I need to use the immobilizer too since it is integrated into the ecu? if so, what exactly would I need to do? does the acura cl have an immobilizer? thanks

do the JDM motors use OBD 2? or is ODB a US thing only? I would like to try and smog the car eventually, legally. Thanks

I'm running a 98 JDM ecu and it is OBD2. Excatly the same as its US counterpart minus the immobilizer. I was even able to pass the state ref 2 years ago and got my BAR sticker. I smogged it last week with the same ecu and it passed...100% legit. You shouldn't have a problem with it.
